About the role đź‘‹
As a Sales Engineer at Kindly, you’ll work closely with our Sales department to ensure prospects and customers understand the full potential of our conversational AI platform. From discovery to demo and proposal, you’ll play a vital role in helping customers solve real business problems with our product.
You will be the go-to person for technical insights, product expertise, and creative problem-solving throughout the sales cycle. Expect a high degree of collaboration, autonomy, and visibility as you contribute directly to pipeline growth and customer success.
What you'll be doing đź“‹
As a Sales Engineer, your job will be to:
Support the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle with technical discovery, solution design, and tailored product demonstrations.
Collaborate with prospects to understand their goals, architecture, and requirements, and present how Kindly’s platform can address them.
Create solution proposals, answer RFPs, and support the preparation of statements of work for more complex opportunities.
Help drive product fit by feeding insights from the field back to product, marketing, and integrations teams.
Own and continuously improve demo environments, templates, and technical sales documentation.
Be a technical thought partner to the sales team, shaping deal strategy and contributing to win plans.
Partner with our integration and implementation teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery.
Support partner enablement and onboarding efforts as we grow our channel business.
You’ve worked in a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, or Technical Consultant role in a B2B SaaS company—ideally in CX, or automation.
Comfortable discussing APIs, web integrations, and implementation trade-offs with both technical and non-technical audiences.
A strong communicator in English and a natural presenter who enjoys making the complex feel simple and valuable.
Curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by helping customers succeed.
You thrive in a fast-moving environment, balancing multiple priorities with a calm and structured approach.
Experience with APIs and integration technologies like REST APIs and Webhooks
Experience building demo environments and prototyping tools (e.g Javascript, React, Python, Node)
Experience with hosting your prototypes or demos (e.g Firebase, Vercel, Heroku)
Experience with authentication methods and security concepts (e.g OAuth, JWT)
Bonus: Experience working with CRM, support platforms, or automation tools like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Hubspot.
